The police require my mobile phone and sim card for proof of recieving threatening messages and nauicence phonecalls . The problem is they will need my phone for 4 to 6 weeks .How can i do this and still keep my mobile number durring that time ? any ideas would be much appreciated thanks

I expect they would want the whole phone and the sim card so you are not going to be able to use that number . If you want the police to prosecute the person who has been harassing you co-operate with them. Doing without your phone for a few weeks is no great hardship

If your desperate then get another phone - if its too much trouble then next time you get a threatening call dont go to the Police
