Hi all,

Just to say a big thank you to all who entered the recent quiz in aid of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, closing date 31st August 2007. The sheets have all been marked, and to all of you who enclosed a SAE with your entry, the answers and results were posted this morning. Watch this space for a new quiz, hopefully around Christmas (time permitting)!

I don't want to wait
who was the artist in Q88 Who said 'Are you certain madam ' etc etc.
Apart from that I enjoyed the quiz.

Hi Diane1706,

I knew this question would cause problems, but it wasn't intended to. Honest!

The answer is Augustus John.

It was taken from a very old book of quotations and was only intended as a filler question, and was chosing by literally flicking through the book and pointing at a random quotation.

From this quiz (including donations) we raised about �130, but I am holding a quiz in my home village on Saturday and will be handing over the money to a WNAA rep on the night. Hopefully it will be around �400.

You say that there is a new quiz out around Xmas but what about the current one due in by 1st November.
