I suggest that the answer is a "squeeze"

Finesse
Finesse playing the lowest card of a group of non-sequential honours (A-Q or K-J) hoping the missing card is in the hand of the player before the group of honours. So flushing out a potentiallly winning card - dummy plays Q, opponent has K. If he plays it you play A if he doesn't you play under Q.
The answer is not finesse - that does not force the opponent to play his winner.
It has to be SQUEEZE
Youre right pj. Didn't read the question thoroughly. finesse is drawing out a potential winner not discarding a potential winer as when a long suit is played out.
