Hi All,

I'm into calorie counting mode and noodles are confusing me, they say per 100g (1pack) is 175cals but half a pack is 262cals?! Does this make sense in some weird way coz it doesnt to me.

YOU MADE ME GET MY NOODLES OUT OF THE CUPBOARD AND GO FIND A CALCULATOR!!!

Well my noodles are a 750g pack, made up of two packets of 375g, each packet has 6 portions weighing 67.5g each.
The packet reads that there are 217cals in a cooked portion weighing 125g and 346cals in an uncooked 100g portion.

I still can't flipping figure it out.
I would imgine that they weigh heavier when cooked. So a 100g uncooked portion could potentially weigh 200g when cooked. Still 346 cals though, using Natalie_1982's figures, if you ate 125g of those cooked noodles, you would be eating less than the 326 cal, making it 217 cals.

326/200*125 = 217.
Oops, of course I meant:

346 calories in 200g of cooked noodles = 1.73 cal per gram.

Times by 125 grams per portion = 126.25 (near enough to 127 calories!)
