After the marriage of Isabella (of Castile) to Ferdinand (of Aragon) in 1469, Spain was essentially unified. Castilian nobility, however, saw their power being eroded by the new joint monarchy and many of them united against the crown. The resulting civil war lasted for about 10 years.
'Moor' likely to be the 'Reconquista' against the Moors, who had occupied most of Spain since the VIIIth century. They were finally defeated in 1492 at Granada.
