She is still alive. I heard she was shot by a drugs raid years ago but it seems she is still alive and kicking!

She's definitely still alive - there was an article in a magazine the other day abour her boyfriend - can't remember who he is - but yeah - she is alive!

She is alive and well - unlike her career !! Have seen her on several 'what became of programs'.

The reason her career plummeted after Dirty Dancing is because she had a nose job ! Seriously...apparently she had never liked her nose so after the success of Dirty Dancing decided to do something about it. The result so altered the appearance of her face that producers felt that she didn't look like herself before the nose job.

The nose job wasn't cocked up it just dramatically altered what she looked like. If you can find some before and after pictures I think you will agree.

She showed up in "Friends" at one stage, and yeah, she was almost unrecognisable. She played Mindy, Rachel's bridesmaid from the aborted wedding. She ended up marrying Barry, the intended groom.

i saw a tv programme and it said that after her nose job, which wasnt bad - she looked so dramatically different that no one recognised her so it was as if she was an unheard off so she lost her fame and no one cared bout her cos it didnt seem like it was the girl frm dirty dancing that we all know, but someone who just slightly resembles her... hmmm

she is still living and just a few years ago got a t.v. show in the usa. i cant remember the name but it was a 30 minute sitcom about her real life as an actress and the fact that she got a nose job and no one recognized her anymore. which she did get the nose job for real. doesn't look like the same person at all. the sitcom was cancelled for lack of ratings. hope this helps you.
