I am eagerly (sp??!!) awaiting the release of "The Lovely Bones" film as I adored the book and so, have just checked it's progress on IMDB. It's in pre-production and says that "lensing" begins on 7th October this year. Can anyone enlighten me as to what this term means? Try as I might on the World Wide Web, I can't seem to find the answer!!!
TIA

Hip-speak for 'filming begins'...........i.e. using the camera lens.
I believe it is industry-speak for filming i.e. action in front of the camera lens.
