Did you know she sold the Body Shop to the L'Oreal Group who STILL DO testing on animals.

So she was happy to take the money from them in the full knowledge they still test on animals.

Yes but think how many thousands of animals she saved during The Body Shop reign!!!

As Pippster says she is particularly well known in Sussex (Brighton being her first shop). She is a capitialist dream. Proof that anybody can make it big. From small acorns etc.

I just heard today. It is very sad. I was shocked to see she sold out to L'Oreal but I do not believe she did it for the money.

I'm surprised to only just find out. It was in the "entertainment" section of Yahoo news!
