Last night I got Taco sauce at a takeaway, it was like bolognese sauce but with spicey thinner sauce over the top
As this takeaway was about 100 miles from where I live, I was wondering if anyone would have a recipe for it?

Taco Bell Mild Border Sauce
3 cups Water
2 teaspoons Cornstarch
1 six ounce can Tomato Paste
3 tablespoons White Distilled Vinegar
4 teaspoons Chili Powder
2 teaspoons Salt
1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Dissolve cornstarch in water in a medium saucepan.
Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Turn off heat and cover until cool.
Keep in a covered container in the refrigerator.
Makes 3 cups (24 ounces).

3 tablespoons finely minced Jalapeno Slices
1 tablespoon Chili Powder
1 tablespoon dried Minced Onion
2 teaspoons Salt
2 teaspoons Cornstarch
1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 teaspoon Sugar
� teaspoon Onion Powder
Dash Garlic Powder
Combine tomato paste with the water in a medium saucepan and whisk until smooth.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir until combined.
Heat mixture over medium high heat until it begins to boil. Continue to cook for about 3 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from the heat.
When sauce has cooled, pour into a sealed container and refrigerate.
Makes 3 cups.
