I heard somewhere that you there is a process where anyone can get a book published, its called something like "vanity publishing". Only about 30 are published and you have to pay for it but I thought it would be a good pressie for this Christmas. Does anyone know of such a thing?? ta

If you click here, that will link you to a web-page which deals with 'vanity publishing'. You might be well advised to read it before going ahead!

If you do decide to do so, doing a Google search using "vanity puiblishers"+UK in the slot will offer names and addresses, I'm sure.

Have nothing to do with vanity publishing. If you want to do a short-run book, get it typseset and printed yourself and don't go through one of those companies who'll vastly inflate the price.
