Just wanted to know. Are zebras classed as horses or are they more like donkeys.

They are from the horse family but I would imagine that donkeys are too.

I'm a bit vague on this whole area. I undersatnd that they are all of the same family but are zebras closer to donkeys or horses. They certainly sound like donkeys.
I also wondered why, unlike horses and donkeys, were they never domesticated?

they have to be domesticatable

Look at dogs - we didnt domesticate them, they sort of cozied up to humans as an evolutionary step = couldnt wait to stop having to find their own dinner

you know what I mean. For heavens sake I'm just asking why zebras were never used for riding and so on.

Thanks for those bits warpig at least after I read the whole thing I can see why they were not domestcated.
