HOW!? do i get DV camcorder tapes onto DVD!???

i have 3 DV camcorder tapes
but want to get them onto DVD
as soon as possible....
is there a certain shop or
place i can go to get
them transferred quickly
rather than send them off somewhere??

please help

Hi emma,
You could try asking at a camera shop such as Jessops if they tape / dvd transfers. I suggest you ask a few different places as the prices can vary. I assume the 3 tapes are full, so you are looking at 3 hour's of footage. It might actually be cheaper to do it yourself if you can get access to a dvd recorder, connect your camcorder to the input and off you go. BTW you won't get 3 hours of video on a single dvd without compomising the picture quality a bit. Most dvd recorders have a quality setting you can choose before making the recording usualy 1 / 1,5 / 2 /4 /6 hours per disc.
