Can anyone explain why red and green fruits have appeared on a camelia shrub. Have never seen these fruits before on any other camelia

Thank you for your reply but the camelia I have has pink flowers so I feel it is a different species from the one in your photo. The fruits are quite large (red and green) and it has never had fruits on it before.
Mine has doen the same this year, first time since we been at this place which is 11 years.

Thanks for your reply. mine is also about 11 years old. If you open it up it contains seeds
