As far as I know, your parent's TV license only covers the TVs in their property. And yes, you need a TV license for a PC TV card though how they are going to detect it, I don't know.

So is it possible to 'NOT receive' a BBC channel. After all there is never anything worth watching on those channels anyway. Well maybe Wimbledon. Maybe you can pay in June and not the rest of the year if you promise not to watch the BBC.?? Thoughts anyone ?
