Anyone know of a Christmas Market that I can visit for a day or two so I can get the Christmas Spirit. Money is tight but I could get a low cost flight and a cheap Hotel ( with wife and kid)

It would help to know where you live! Presumably you are thinking of one of the German Christmas markets. See where the likes of Ryanair or Easyjet fly to from your nearest airport. Consider Munich, Cologne, Aachen, Dusseldorf etc. Don't forget to calculate the total cost (Getting to the airport, parking, flight, taxes, food/drink on the plane, getting from the arrival airport to where you want to be).

Sorry SteveD, I live in London. I do like the idea of Colonge.
The Cologne (Kln) Christmas Market is gorgeous. But one of the biggest - in the world - is at Stuttgart and RyanAir go there.
Prague Christmas market is fantastic and flights on easyjet are quite cheap. Also Innsbruck and Vienna are wonderful. Try looking on the web for cheap accommodation or even do a house swap look at www.homeexchange.com which is brilliant for holiday swaps.
Another cheap alternative is to go with a Coach Company such as Travelsphere or Majestic, you stay in really good hotels and these holidays are really cheap.
