Does anyone remember the article in [I think] the Telegraph magazine, which tested Epilators. It was in the last couple of months I think. Either that, or do you know the least painful ones. Thanks.
Thanks, though a bit of a disappointment. I gave up shaving when I was 50 [I know-gross] but think now, 12 years later I ought to get legs less like the undergrowth. Have you thought of selling yours Andrea?
I've got the Philips one with the ice pack, it still hurts, takes ages and I still have to get the strays out with tweezers. I use it on my legs and they are a bit tender and pimply for days. I think I'll either go back to waxing or start shaving after 20 years!
I've got a really old Philips one, which I don't think they make any more (new ones look better anyway!). Whichever one you choose, they are doing the same thing - pulling hairs out, so I can't see there would be much difference in pain. Best bit of advice is what Madonna says - take Ibufrofen an hour before! It reduces the pain - and the swelling. Perfect!
