No MoT is a fine only (no points or ban).

No insurance is a fine plus a minimum of six points or a ban (not both unless you are a "totter - 12 points within 3 years).

Like almost all motoring offences you cannot be sent to prison (unless you do not pay your fines).
No MOT - fine up to 1000

No insurance - 6 to 8 points, fine up to 5000 and possibly a disqualification.

If you have passed your test less than 2 years, you will return to learner status.

No prison.
you will only go back to learner status if you receive 6 pts or more in the first 2 yrs of passing your test.
but,if me,panic button and toureman had our way,we would tie ropes around your legs and arms and attach them to our cars and drive off in different directions.
new judge, can you not go to prison for driving whilst banned and drink driving.
You sure can, Norm.

From memory there are only five "purely driving" offences which can attract a prison sentence:

Causing Death by Dangerous Driving
Dangerous Driving
Driving Whilst Disqualified
Excess Alcohol (and the associated failing to provide a specimen)
Failing to Stop/Report

There may be others but I cannot immediately think of any.

Of ourse there are offences involving dishonesty and driving (e.g. Taking without consent, Aggravated Vehicle taking, etc) but I do not see these as driving offences.
