what is the best paint to use for painting bathroom floorboards to make it water resistant?

you can buy proper floor paint for floorboards from B&Q in various colours then i suppose you could give it a couple of coats of varnish to protect it and resistant to any water all i did with my floorboards in the bathroom was to get them sanded and then just applied varnish but i also had the gaps filled in with woodfiller. good luck x
