Start - Run and then type in http://www.google.com and see which program fires up. Whichever starts is your default browser.

Whilst in your Firefox browser -

Tools - options - main

At the bottom it says 'check to see if firefox is the default browser'. Click the Check Now button.

i was using firefox up to last friday
suddenly switched to int ex
for some unknown reason

i tried to down load ff now
it says corrupt file
