What are the speed limits on the east coast of USA. Do drivers keep to them. Are there speed cameras. Mufi.

unless otherwise posted: 35 in cities and towns 55 in highways (usually for 2-way interstate) 65 for inter or intrastate highways, US 70, US 95 for ex.) school activity buses 55, i think, for highways. speed cameras? yes, mostly in the medium to bigger cities (pop. 50,000 and up), and of course there are cops all over the place with radars, so you can get a ticket for speeding just about anywhere. also, there are absolute speed limits in a few states, which means 5 over can get you a ticket. the rule to not to get one is to drive 9 over the limit.

And that's Miles per Hour (MPH) rather than Kilometers per Hour...
It's ok Clanad we don't kilometres, and hopefully never will! I was let off doing 85 on an interstate in Tennessee but I think he liked my wife's Scots accent, I think I was lucky and wouldn't risk it again
