I believe in God and my husband's an atheist and I never criticise or question his choice but he regularly has a go at me and says I have an imaginary friend, which really gets on my t*ts if you'll excuse my language.
Although you get the odd pushy Jehovah's Witness I think most Christians keep it to themselves and it's the atheists who have to be 'right' and lay into you about it. I say live and let live but sadly other people's hang ups about religion seemingly have to be pushed onto anyone who dares to think differently.
Unitarian Universalism endorses "a free and responsible search" for truth and spirituality and answers to the Big Questions. There is no need to be a theist to conduct such a search, and in fact at some UU churches, theists feel a little left out.
considering the denial of any xstian i have ever met that they seek to spread the word it seems to get shoved in my face an awful lot. they cant help themselves. typical hypocrisy.
