Printing on Excel
8 Answers
I type a spreadsheet and save it. Later I open it up and decide to print it. I click on Print preview but the result is a blank page. I then try printing it and a blank sheet of paper emerges from the printer. Does anyone know what has gone wrong? I normally have no trouble in printing my spreadsheets.

For a moment I thought camioneur's was going to work but when I came to print I saw it was printing 1 of 91 pages!!!!!
I immediately cancelled and think I must retype the whole spreadsheet and go from there. Thanks to you both however for trying to put me right.

Did you:
Go to File and click on Select print area and then before doing anything else - drag and highlight the area you want to print on the spreadsheet.
Go back to file and click on Print Preview - which will let you see what is going to be printed. (From there (Click Setup)you can change page layout - landscape / portrait and also enlarge the area to best fit the page.)

The Print Preview seems to be the trouble. It is blank!
In my efforts to solve the problem yesterday I think I must have done something to remove the Print Preview page (if that is possible).
Your instructions worked fine until Print Preview and I am beginning to think I have somehow or other caused the problem myself. Thanks Machecoul for trying.

It nearly worked! I did as you said and the printer produced a copy of the spreadsheet BUT the column headings on the right-hand side of the page had been moved along and were now over different figures!!!
I tried to cure the situation (without success) and feel I must now let the matter rest before everyone gets fed-up with me! But thanks Machecoul for your efforts, they are really appreciated.
