part time work at 16

can anyone tell me please daughter in 6th form how many hours a week is she allowed to work, may have a chance of a part time job, but not sure of hours, ie, working in evenings, etc and weekends, r there any rules about working late until 11 in the evening? thank you

children under 18 are not permitted to work after 10 at night and think before 6 in morning but u gota check that. i worked in a shop at lakeside, u can employ a person of 16 for as many hours they wish, however if attending 6th form up to 16 is recomended as it may interfere with school work.but we were not allowed to keep them after 10 at night for definate.ema/child allowances dnt make u declaire under 16 hours, although i may be wrong and it maybe 20.
