What do you do if your dating a boy in the 7th grade and your in the 6th grade?And your guy friend says i should break up with him...Do you think hes jealous??

I think they're both quite young, but I'm not sure what the difference is. At school my girlfriend was in the year above, but I was at the oldest in my year (or "grade" (spit)) but she was about the youngest in hers. There are couples all over the year gaps though, but I'd say it's nothing worth worrying about.

7th and 6 th grade is a considerable difference when you're in them! (you know, the older you are, the less it matters) But as long as you two feel alright about it then forget what other people may say. Does your guy friend have a valid reason for saying that you should break up (like he thinks the kid is stuck up or perhaps is a deadbeat)? If not, if he just "doesn't like him" then he may be jealous.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I think Middle School is too young to be dating! If school hasn't changed since I graduated, sixth graders are about 11 years old, and seventh graders are 12. (Cripes, when I was 11, boys still had cooties!) For heaven's sake, what do you do on a "date" - share a skateboard to the 7-11? Do yourself a favor and just be "friends" with him; no need to grow up so fast.
