Can anyone tell me what ever happend to the couple in Mad About You? I was watching when she was about to have the baby, then skipped several months of episodes and caught one the other day on a cable channel that was later but they didnt have a baby.... surely nothing terrible happened to the baby????

Perhaps the episode you saw simply didn't involve the couple's baby. Certainly, the baby girl survived, and it seems that the final episode of the whole series - incidentally, it ended in 1999 - was in the form of a flash-forward, and was told from the point of view of the grown up daughter (played by Jeanne Garafolo). Excellent - All my questions answered. But it seems the child thing wasnt much of a plot at all after she was born, so many of the episodes didn't actually include or refer to her. thanks for the link though - v. informative.

Today in Chile they just showed the episode of Jamie testing positive and then Pauley�s sisters girlfriend (who is like the Dr.) confirmed that they were having a baby! but now, the news is supposed to be all hush hush....
