Painting Lines on Carpet
4 Answers
Our Scout HQ has carpet on the floor in the main hall.
I need to mark lines on the floor for games etc., I've tried duct tape but it doesn't last very long.
Any suggestions on what paint I could use to make lines?
Thanks

That whitening they use for the ceiling may do.
Would chalk lines be good enough?
Waterpaint will all come out with a good carpet shampooer.
White linen ribbon pinned down with drawing pins and a small hammer every 4" or so could become a scout competition between groups to see who can tape the floor quickest.

Are you allowed to spray paint the carpet? If so, you could you some Easyline. Its available in loads of colours and you can get 2 and 4 wheeled applicators (like this)

to get a good line, but of course you would have to get it right first time. Your local builders merchant should help you out with paint and applicator.
