Online Gaming with PS3 or Xbox on BT Broadband
2 Answers
Hi, I have BT Broadband option 1 which allows up to 5GB download usage each month. My sons have the Playstation 3 games console and Xbox and want to do online gaming via the BT broadband. Could someone explain how this works and will it cost me or will it be included in the BT broadband internet. Basically i'm concerned that I will get a huge bill at the end of the month! TIA.

OK its simple:
It wont cost a penny for him to play Online using ure existing BT Line, 5GB is a fair amount of bandwith for online gaming, unless he is playing it for 12hrs a day all month, then I doubt he will use up the 5gb Allowed bandwidth, but dont worry you wont be charged if he goes over, however you mite get a letter from BT telling you that your using over your bandwidth and would you like to increase you BT Package, but ignore it they cant force to upgrade your package as you signed into a contract, unless you are using ie 15gb a month .
Playing online gaming is totally free, and you just pay your normal BT line rental.
So basically DONT WORRY
