4 berth outside cabins on p+o ferries

I am in the process of booking a mini cruise from Hull to Rotterdam. Cabin allocated is an inside bunk which we don't want, there are no outside twin berth cabins available but there are 4 berth outside cabins available. Does anyone know if a 4 berth is actually 4 floor standing beds in the cabin or two sets of bunks. Thanks for any help.

Having been on one cross channel ferry with a cabin, and several cruises usually a four berth cabin is two sets of bunks.

The four berth cabins are 2 floor standing single berths with two fold-down single berths above.

It is not worth going for an outside cabin as the crossing is overnight and there is nothing to see out of the window.

The only way you will get a very large cabin with floor-standing bunks is to book a Club Class cabin which is very expensive. I did it once, but I was using up frequent traveller points (Captain's Club) which no longer exist.

I get your point about not needing an outside cabin Steve, I just never thought of it that way, thanks for the link, I'm going on it now.
