Colorful state, as in picturesque, or as in a color in the name? Or a colorful captial name? In which case, it sounds like Baton Rouge.

I should have added that Colorado's "motto" at least on the liscence plates is "Colorful Colorado"...additionally, in Spanish, colorado means "reddish"...
