What tempreture should our Bosch Fridge Freezer be at?

Can someone advise what the best tempreture a Fridge/Freezer should be at between 1 & 5?
We have ours at 3 but the freezer seems to get frosty and I am not sure if 1 is coldest or 5.

if its a bosch one then yes 5 is the correct setting....any other freezer would be 7....

any fridge should be 4 at least, 5 is ok

Best way is to buy a fridge/freezer thermometer, very cheap, and put it in the freezer then experiment with the regulator until you get the right temprature.

fridge should be 0-3 degrees C
freezer should not be above -12 degrees C (don't forget that's a minus figure, so -14 is OK -9 is not!!)

the internal temperature will be affected by the external temperature and by how you use your fridge (how often the door is opened, whether you put hot/warm food in it, how full it is....etc etc)
for eg, someone living in a hot country will need to have the fridge/freezer set to a higher cooling to keep the temperature the same as a fridge/freezer in cooler climate

so as Toureman suggests, if you get a thermometer you can just experiment
