I am probably showing my age here, but does anyone remember a tv series called The Flashing Blade? It was shown back in the early seventies I think and was dubbed over in English. Also one that I think was called The Singing Ringing Tree, this was also dubbed. Can anyone remember anything else from that time?

Oh they are all coming back to me now!! Belle and Sebastian and White Horses I remember them, the theme tune from Robinson Crusoe was always a bit poignant, I remember his cave strung with the fishing nets (if I remember correctly).

I may be imagining this but I'm pretty sure I saw The Flashing Blade a couple of time a few years apart and the dubs were different.The first time it was serious and the second it was a comedy.
I spotted it on DVD in HMV a few months ago,and I think The Singing Ringing Tree is also available.
