hubby rates garth brooks, so does friends hubby, must admit i'd never heard of him til a couple of years ago, and still haven't listened to any of his stuff, i'm guessing your advice would be to have a listen, but is he as good as elvis, whickerman?

Have you tried listening to Brad Paisley. Something similar but good voice and songs also.

Dot - I'm a Garth fan, too. That's awful news, but at least I've got all his stuff on CD so I can still listen. Could I suggest, go out & buy a few albums??
Also like Patsy Cline. And have you heard Reba McIntire? She's great.
