Taking Valium for Dental Appointment. Will it relax me ?

Have major Dental Anxiety.

Have been prescribed 5mg Valium to relax me

What will it make me feel like ? Will i feel sleepy ?

its very low dosage, will just relax you

i personally didnt like it when i took it to combat fear of flying but then I dont like getting drunk or anything either, you might feel different

Its marvellous stuff ! you wont know anything thats happening , and when its finished youl soon "be normal " again, dont worry ... and thats from someone whos petrified of the dentist : )

It will make you very relaxed - take it about 90 minutes before your apt.

Be aware, you will be sleepy for the rest of the day, so don;t drive. Have an early night, and an early night the next night, and you'll be fine.

I had such a bad phobia I couldn't even get in the building, never mind up the stairs, in the surgery, and in the chair!

It worked fine for me.
