i also suffer from PCOS, I dont have children yet but am hopeful that i will soon, it is possible to conceive naturally, but can be difficult if ovulation doesnt occur frequently if at all. its important to remember that achieving pregnancy is not impossible.the first line of treatment to aid ovulation is a drug called clomid, i'm due to start the treatment next year when the timing is better, my consultant believes that it can be very effective, He also recommends losing just 5% of body fat. there is also a wealth of information available on the internet if you do a search, including support groups, it helps to talk to people who are going through the same problem. the main thing is to not give up hope and to stay positive, stress will only make matters worse. i hope everything works out for her, hope this helps x
