Sony Ericsson W200i

Just bought a Sony Ericsson W200i but can't get the software to run. The pc can't see the phone. I've tried uninstalling it and installing it from the website instead to no success. Any ideas anyone?

I have the k800i and have had serious problems with the software, I have tried loads of things and cannot get it to work. I have ended up using a freebie from the Orange website to use some of the features, together with MS Outlook to store all my numbers.

Maybe your service provider has similar?

Was in the US for a week, then away from home in Ireland for another. Hope you're well and over that accident - nasty time for you

I'm currently downloading the files again, and if I get no joy I'll try your suggestion. Just looking at some other message boards, seems we're not alone... this software is just not working.

I lost my hard drive when messing with my phone whilst it was connected to the PC and not sure if the software was the cause as it froze the whole system, be cautious! I had to fork out almost �100 for a new hard drive. I havent put the CD Rom in again. I should really complain but forgot about it until I saw your post

internal error 2753.setdbgout.exe......is this the message you get if so u stuffed,iv had 2 sony ericssons now,the old one could open up on my computer,but new one no chance,only way round this is to wipe yor pc,reinstall software and it works fine
