Mirena Coil - How long did you bleed/spot for?

Hi, I've recently had the Mirena fitted, just interested to hear how long everyone bled/spotted for? I'm not experiencing any problems, just light spotting as expected but just interested to hear other people's experiences. I have a friend who bled for just a week then nothing... Thanks all!

I had 1 -2 periods...then just (smeg) as I call it every month.& so does a friend of mine. However another friend who has had it over a year & has normal periods, So I assume it is different for everybody.

I was just like your friend 1 week then nothing bit of spotting about twice a year after that. had mine out in april moved on to the implanto works for 3 years just as safe if not safer than marina which is almost 100% and still no periods yeah.
