Is it possible to embed pipes into a wall, that are currently on the surface of a wall? Therefore providing clean straight walls

Water pipes yes you can providing you take precautions to prevent corrosion and accidental damage. Gas pipes well leave that to a CORGI gasman who will know exactley how to SAFELY run a gas pipe discreetly out of sight. There are a lot of rules and regs to adhere to.
The coefficient of expansion of metal is greater than brickwork.
I have a lot of old pipes running up and down inside my walls. Its a blinking nightmare!
