I know it's an odd question. But does anyone know, in An American Werewolf in London, do Jenny Agutter & David Naughton really have sex in the love scene?
Thanks for all your answers. If I had to guess, i'd say it was real. I won't watch An American Werewolf in Paris & i've seen Don't Look Now, the sex scene is great & very real.
It might look real, but they are actors ~ so obviously doing a great job!
'Don't Look Now' is mentioned. Again, this is a fabulous film and the intimacy shown at a time when the couple are mourning the loss of their little daughter makes it even more moving.
There have been rumours surrounding the movie, suggesting that Sutherland & Christie made love for real. Again, just a myth...and credit to them for making it look so real.
I would say that it was pretty obvious that they don't have sex for real in the film. They are acting. It's like asking whether he really turns into a werewofl in the film...
They would certainly be top-notch actors being able to respond under the weight of lights, multiple close up cameras working to catch the right angles, the sweaty-browed grip boy hanging on to his...er um..boom mike, and all the other people responsible for capturing the imagination of an insatiable cinema audience.
Personally, I would think not...but crum, nowadays, you never know!
I understand what your all saying, but if you're going to take most of your clothes off, going to kiss & touch each other, you may as well go all the way. That's the way I see it.
No Kiwi..that would be porn, and the actors aren't paid to have sex in movies like 'AWIL' they are paid for their acting ability...porn films aren't, as you probably know, known for acting skills.
Pippa, I dont really know what it is about Jenny Agutter. I remember that I had an adolescent fantasy crush on her from the film Walkabout. If I think back about the film, it must have been the overt freedom exhibited in the film, which would have gone against a typical closely controlled public school upbringing. Hard to say, but I know other men my age who have told me that they too had crushes on her. Oh crum, where is Sigmund when we need him!
