Afternoon,
I have quite a mixed accent and I would like to be trained to speak properly...
Where would I find somewhere that does this kind of training?
In the Northants/Bucks area...

You might wish to contact Actor's Equity in London and explain that you're looking for a voice coach. Voice Coaches are the trained professionals who work with actors doing such diverse roles where they must alter accents dramatically.
I understand your interests. Having lived all over the world, I'm afraid I end up sonding like a mix between Vincent Price and Lloyd Grossman! Whilst I'm mortified to hear these comparisons, I'm also told that in my profession, it actually sounds warm and comforting. With this thought in mind, I chose to accept what I've been given and use it to the best of my ability.
I'm a 'regular' on radio, so I would imagine that if it were that offensive, listeners would tune off.
I wish you well
