Ideas for afternoon out with baby
3 Answers
Hi Everyone, hope you're all doing well.
We're meeting some friends on Saturday afternoon at about 4.00pm and i just wanted some idea of what to do! Baby Mia will be with us (she's 10 weeks on Friday).
We're meeting in Central London and want to go for dinner. Are restaurants gererally happy to have babies in them?! Any ideas of what we could do after?!
(sorry never actually gone out properly with Mia - except to the park, shops and stuff!) x

I once took my 8 week old baby to an Italian restaurant and they helped me with the pram up and down the steps and spent ages fussing over him! Do you have any particular restaurant in mind? It could be worth ringing up beforehand just to check.
Hi Nat!
Good to see you about hun, send me some up to date pics of Mia if you get a chance!
Ive always taken babyCRX out to restaurants from being tiny, it helps get them used to the atmosphere and they tend not to play up so much when older.
Most places will happily allow babies in and its a bonus now everywhere is non smoking too. Some of the chain restaurants like Brewers fayre will even sell the jars of organic food although Mia is too young for this at mo. They will also allow you to warm bottles at your own risk but you may not be allowed to have hot water at the table and may need to watch the bottle at the bar or something.
Afterwards, well it really depends on what you want to do as Im sure Mia will be happy enough watching the world go by.
Obviously bars and restaurants do have a cut off time when children and not allowed by TGIs is a family restaurant so Im sure theyll be helpfull
