Can somebody please put me out of my misery - either I just don't 'get it' or I am a bit thick (or both), but in the FOrd Focus C-Max advert, what do the washing machines, jellies and rubber ducks symbolise?
i think the idea is that jellies, washing machines and (for some reason) rubber ducks are unstable and wobbly, whereas the ford focus has really good handling and is very stable. which is why they wobble down the road and round corners in the advert.
I only saw the advert once, and it took me a while to work it out. Don't they mention 3 factors that make it a good car - stability (the other cars are like jelly) and two others I can't quite remember, but I think one was looks, so one of the other two equates with looks, and the other with the other factor. If I see it again, I'll post (but I tend to timeshift and FF through the adverts).
