Does anyine know if the Express, Mail etc are extending their deadline dates for crosswords due to the looming postal strikes? I have looked at today's Express and it still requires the Crusader crossword entry to be postmarked by tomorrow at the latest, but as the strike starts at 12pm today and lasts until 12pm Saturday this will be impossible

If these are daily crosswords then presumably only hand-delivered entries will be entered in the draw - do you know when the solutions are published, as this will be the main deciding factor ?

The solutions for today's crossword will be published on Monday, closing date is next Thursday
You might just get it postmarked in time if it's handed in at a Sorting Office this morning, otherwise it would presumably need to be hand delivered before Sunday night.
No! The strike is actually on until next Wednesday!! My postie said nothing posted today would be touched until then so it was a waste of time walking 3 miles to the main post office to post my Colossus Puzzle Collection entries and therefore a waste of time completing them. GRRRR.
