Does anyone remember Manchester Tart? They used to serve it up at school, but I haven't seen a recipe for it ~ anyone??

You can buy them at Asda. Are they like custardy in pastry with some jam on the bottom and with coconut flakes on top and a cherry?

I work at a place where we make Manchester Tarts. They have raspberry jam in the bottom of a pastry case, then chopped up bananas, then bulbs of creme patisserie (custard) on top, with desicated coconut sprinkled on top! yum!
