AVG anti-virus download problems

this message keeps coming up after I download it

"Some installation files are currupt
Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation"

I retried it quite a few time now, and it's still not working! What can I do?

Have you uninstalled the corrupt copy before installing the new one...then restart computer and try again.

If the corrupt version wont uninstall there's a handy app here

It's a full trial version but came in useful for me when a prog wouldn't uninstall.

but if it didn't install will I be able to uninstall it? I'll have another look at it at home though and try to!!
