Car advert from the eighties

Does anyone remember a car or tyre ad from the eighties.
There is a family driving through dark lanes at night, a big demon type thing comes out of the trees and chases the family.
The dad drives fast to escape this beast as it jumps from tree to tree.
The car outruns this thing then the mum in the passenger seat looks round at her baby in the back and sighs.
This is really bugging me, i remember it because it scared me as a child.
