Children were seen in a new and radically different way in the American Republic. How and why was this true?

This was true as there was greater focus on the family dynamic and children were a key part of the future of a new nation emerging from the wars and revolutions in a troubled europe, children were no longer seen and not heard they were included and encouraged with education being paramount.
