learning to drive in france

hope this is correct section... i have been living in france for a month, i've just started university and was wondering what were the french requirements for learning to drive, as regards distance and whether they will teach english people, i have a high standard of french so the language would not be an issue. also if possible how much does it cost?? more than england? thanks to anyone who can help or direct me towards a website!

The links on this page take you to a French website, so I can't help you there, but the basic info you need is in English.
If I were you I'd ask the French people themselves as that is where you are living. Is there a student union where you can get some info?
