How do i get back deleted user account
2 Answers
Hi, if a user account is deleted from a computer, is it possible to get it back and if so how? Also if a user account is deleted, would this invalidate a hotmail email account. Basically a user account was deleted, now various websites such as My Space say that the email address used to sign in is invalid, but this worked fine before the user account was deleted. TIA

Secondly the deleted accounts, you will have lost all files on that account unfortunately. To make the account again follow below:
Start >
Control Panel >
User Accounts >
Create New Account >
Enter Name >
Set Type of Account >
Create Account >
Then when you log off the user page will come up and your new account should be there.
Hope this helps

when you create a user, windows creates a couple of id numbers based on "undisclosed" variables
this means that if you create an account called "fred" it will be given a unique ssid ....
if you then delete and re-create the account again .... the ssid will be different so all the permissions
(required for encrypted data) won't respond to the new "fred" account....
however if you backed up your files ... they should still be accessible as will any network shares
this all applies to your local workgroup ... not the internet ....
any e-mail ... site accounts or banking details will still work
