My AB Question

Why has my question gone already from AB? I only put it on tonight about 8pm and it has already disappeared. Why? It was asking how to install my web cam.

Where did you post it? Under technology or the favourite for all (B & S) Can I suggest you repost it under technology and also say what your computer is running on? With most webcams they do have an installation disc so you load that and at some stage it will tell you to plug the cam lead into a USB port.

I did post it under Technology but after about 2 hours it disappeared. I had 2 answers that I was going to show my son. Anyway he has finally got web cam installed but we are having trouble with the sound now. Mic lead went into pink port and we tested sound on Skype which played back ok but when we then made a video to check playback there wasn't any sound. He went into all volume controls to chech them but nothing seemed to work. We are at a standstill now while my son gets in touch with a mate who is a whizz with computers. Thankyou for trying to help O'Reilly.

straightforward queries like that don't normally disappear. If it doesn't show up anywhere in 'My Profile', why not email the Editor direct via the Contact Us link at the foot of the page and ask?
