I am painting a childrens bedroom and there are red and black marker scribbles all over one wall. The colour picked for the room is a pale blue and i am undercoating with white paint but even after 4 coats on top of the marks the scribbles are still coming through...what can i do?

a couple of light coats of white undercoat on the offending marks before the emulsion should do the trick.
